Young Talent Contest

When: Sunday 18/02/2024,  11:00am - 1:00pm

Where: Footscray Park, on the main stage

Event Details:
Participants: Open to talented individuals aged between 5-21 years old.

Talent Categories: Participants can exhibit talents such as playing a musical instrument, dancing, singing (original or cover songs, not karaoke), performing magic tricks, and any other unique skills that can be defined as talent.

Time Limit: Each act will be allotted 5-7 minutes for their performance.

Limited Enrollment: Due to time constraints, we can only enroll a total of 20 participants.

Judging: A panel of experienced judges will evaluate each participant's performance, assigning a total score out of 10 points each (30 points in total).

Prizes: Contestants with the highest total scores will be awarded.

2023......Let's start again!!!!!!

Sunshine on Sunday 29/01/2023

After two years of covid lockdown, we are glad to announce we'll kick-start the Tet Factor initiatives again.
This year Tet Factor will be hosted by the Vietnamese Community Association - Victorian Chapter.


The event will be on Sunday, 29/01/2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Address: 90 Knight Avenue, North Sunshine VIC 3020
The event is part of the two days Lunar New Year celebration organised by the VCA.


This year's Tet Factor theme will focus on Young Talents.

Talents include:
  • Singing
  • Dancing
  • Playing music instruments
  • Acting
  • Storytelling/ Comedy
  • Magic show

Pho eating, coffee race, and other activities WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE this year.
We may be able to fit one of the above-mentioned activities in, so please check back soon.


For Adults, we'll have the Karaoke Singing competition, happening on Sunday, 29/01/2023, in the afternoon.

Registrations will close on Friday 27/01/2023.

Some Covid restrictions are still in place. Fortunately under the guidance of the Victiorain Government, the city of Yarra and the Victoria Street Business Assosciation, we will be able to have a scaled down version of our Tet Factor.
